Flying the Red Tail

I fly Northwest Airlines, which is a little weird, because anecdotally it's know as the worst airline of the majors. However, I've flown them for years, and have Platnium status, which means I sit in the front.

I am all torn up -- I am thinking of switching to American if they would comp me, meaning give me status right away.

It's hard to talk to your roadie friends and tell them that you fly Northwest. No street cred at all.
